Sri Chinmoy Canberra Trail Run Series

We hope you all enjoyed the Anzac Day Long Weekend. As you would have noticed, we were closed on Monday as we had the first of our Canberra Trail Run series races that we organise as part of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team.

A number of us made it over to Chapman early on Monday morning to organise the event. This is one of the shorter of the series with a 2.2km, 5km and 10km options. But don't let the small distances lure you into a false sense of an easy event! Taking in some spectacular views overlooking Canberra and the Brindabellas, there were many a climb up some not-so-bland hills to see these views… but well worth it!

This Winter series of races will slowly increase in distances to give everyone who likes a challenge to build up their racing stamina from the 5km up to 30km with lots of options in between to give anyone a chance to have a fun day out on some of Canberra’s best trails – and our trails are world class!

And as a bonus at the end, all runners receive one of our Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies – and trust me, after you leave it all out on the trails, the cookies taste even better than you remember :-)
